Welcome to the homepage of the BaSIS project!

The project ‘Bantu Syntax and Information Structure’ was funded by an NWO Vidi award, and ran from December 2017- July 2023 at the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics. The BaSIS project investigated the influence of information structure on syntax in a subset of Bantu languages.
